GR5: North of France

In this third part, we will hike trough the countryside of northern France. The landscape is varied with wood- and farmland, hillsides and wetlands, villages and city’s. The big and busy industrial areas are nicely avoided, therefore we get to see a green and quiet side of this region in these 12 stages to the Vosges Mountains. We will start in Sierck-Les-Bains and walk through Metz towards Nancy. At Liverdun we will turn east towards Dieuze and from there on south to the Vosges Mountains.
